SETAF-AF Year in Review 2023

Throughout 2023, SETAF-AF conducted hundreds of theater security cooperation activities in Africa, led multilateral exercises across the continent, executed multiple medical readiness exercises, and stood ready to support crisis response operations throughout Europe and Africa. Senior enlisted leaders from Africa, Europe and the United States gathered for the Senior Enlisted Leaders Forum (SELF), part of the African Land Forces Summit (ALFS) 2025, held April 8 and 10 in Accra. SELF runs concurrently with ALFS, and features specialized plenary and breakout sessions for senior enlisted leaders across Africa, the US and Europe, dedicated to topics related to developing and leading enlisted soldiers.
