U.S. Congressional delegation visits USAG Italy, engages with military families

U.S. Congressional staff members observe a U.S. Army Garrison Italy Transition Assistance Program class during a visit to Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy, Aug. 10, 2021. U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa Commander Maj. Gen. Andrew Rohling and USAG Italy Garrison Commander Col. Matthew Gomlak provided the delegation with a mission brief and future vision for the program. SELF runs concurrently with ALFS, and features specialized plenary and breakout sessions for senior enlisted leaders across Africa, the US and Europe, dedicated to topics related to developing and leading enlisted soldiers.
