الأسد الأفريقي لسنة 2025 ينطلق في تونس ويمهد لأكبر مناورات عسكرية في أفريقيا

تونس - بدأت قوات عسكرية من تونس والدول الشريكة تمرين الأسد الأفريقي 2025 (AL25) في تونس، يوم 22 أفريل 2025. هذا التمرين متعدد الجنسيات، والذي سيتواصل حتى 30 أفريل، يعزز الجاهزية العسكرية ويدعم قدرة الدول المشاركة على العمل في بيئة أمنية معقدة.

يقول المقدم علي العواج، رئيس فرقة التمارين في فرقة العمل التابعة للجيش الأمريكي لجنوب أوروبا وأفريقيا (SETAF-AF)، وهي وحدة التخطيط الرئيسية لتمرين AL25: "نُقدّر تقديرا كبيرا شراكتنا الراسخة مع تونس إذ يُمثل هذا التمرين فرصةً بالغة الأهمية لدفع تقاسم الأعباء بين الحلفاء والشركاء، ورفع الجاهزية العسكرية للولايات المتحدة وشركائها، ودعم هدفنا الاستراتيجي الشامل المتمثل في الدفاع عن الوطن من خلال الحفاظ على القدرة على الاستجابة للتهديدات في بيئات معقدة وصعبة".
سيجتمع أكثر من 1700 عسكري في تونس، وسيشارك في الدول المضيفة الأربع أكثر من 10,000 عسكري من أكثر من 40 دولة. في تونس، ستُوحد دول حليفة أعضاء في حلف شمال الأطلسي، مثل فرنسا وإيطاليا وإسبانيا، قواتها مع الولايات المتحدة وتونس خلال تمرين AL25.
وستشارك في التمرين أيضا غانا وكينيا وليبيا ونيجيريا والسنغال، مما يسلط الضوء على أهداف الأمن الإقليمي المشتركة للدول الأفريقية.

سيختبر فريق الدعم المدني الرابع والثمانون التابع للحرس الوطني لولاية وايومنغ برنامج شراكته مع تونس، مستعرضًا قدرته على الاستجابة للتهديدات الكيميائية، والبيولوجية، والإشعاعية، والنووية ما سيسمح بإبراز أوجه شراكة الحرس الوطني لولاية وايومنغ مع تونس والتي تمتد لـ 21 عامًا.
