SETAF-AF Year in Review 2022

U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) conducts multiple joint force events in Italy and various parts of Africa such as Tunnisa, Ghana, and Morocco. SETAF-AF supports competition, provides command and control in the land domain, strengthens partnerships, sets the theater, and conducts security force assistance in order to achieve U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Campaign Plan objectives. Members of the 414th Contracting Support Brigade hosted a gathering of Army sustainment professionals April 11-18 in Padova, Italy, and Dakar, Senegal. The assembled participants discussed how to deliver troops and supplies to Africa in support of contingency operations.

NY Army Guard C-12 detachment Soldiers headed to Horn of Africa
LATHAM, New York--Five New York Army National Guard Soldiers who operate a C-12 transport plane based at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Latham, New York are headed to East Africa later this month to support U.S. forces there. The five Soldiers, and a sixth Soldier, who will deploy halfway through the nine-month rotation were honored during a Sunday, Nov. 6 ceremony at the flight facility.
